recon platoon from Company E, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry, 199th Light
Infantry Brigade makes contact with a large enemy force in a remote
rice paddy southwest of Saigon. Vastly outnumbered, the platoon remains
pinned down that morning... |

Surrounded by Viet Cong on at least two sides, Cobra Gunships (LFT) are called in to assault the enemy...

Later that morning, and still pinned down, they now have casualties - including their platoon leader...
